Mocap Camera Planner

Plan your space. See what the cameras can track. by Form Volumes
Capture space
Set the available room. Cameras are placed around its perimeter; the working area is the space you want to capture.
The volume you want to capture, not the room. It follows the room size until you set it yourself — after that it stays where you put it, and it is still held inside the walls.
Cameras
Compare camera layouts and mounting heights. Staggered heights can help cameras see past other performers.

Drag a numbered camera in the plan below, or enter its position. Coordinates are feet from the room center.

Performers
The map samples one height; live tracking checks every body marker. Marker placements are planning references—fit and calibrate the actual set in Motive.
Live — markers on performers
Result
Coverage is the share of the working area where at least the required number of cameras have an unblocked line of sight to a marker at the height above.
