Studios & Film Production
Build a permanent ICVFX stage or upgrade your existing facility with integrated LED volumes, camera tracking, motion capture, and media servers. We handle the entire technology stack — from system design through installation, calibration, training, and ongoing support.
Whether you're building your first LED volume or expanding an existing stage with tracking and mocap, we design systems that are production-ready from day one.

Full-Stack Stage Integration
We don't just sell you hardware and leave. We design, install, calibrate, and support every component of your virtual production stage as a single integrated system.
Content Pipeline & Software
We help establish your real-time content pipeline — Unreal Engine project setup, asset workflows, nDisplay configuration, and integration with Volumate for simplified day-to-day operation. Your team can load environments and run productions without game engine expertise.
What a Typical Build Looks Like
Every project is different, but here's how we typically approach a stage build from first conversation to production-ready.
Consultation & Discovery
We learn about your space, production goals, camera workflow, and budget. We visit the site, take measurements, assess power and structural capacity, and understand what you'll be producing on the stage.
System Design
We design a complete system — LED configuration, tracking placement, compute architecture, networking, and power distribution. You get a detailed proposal with equipment specs, a floor plan, and a clear scope of work.
Procurement
We source all hardware directly from our manufacturer partners at integrator pricing. LED panels, processors, tracking cameras, media servers, cabling, rigging — everything specified and ordered as a single coordinated package.
Installation & Integration
Our team handles structural mounting, panel installation, cable runs, processor configuration, tracking calibration, and system integration. Every component is tested together as a unified system.
Calibration & Testing
Color calibration, tracking accuracy verification, latency testing, and end-to-end production workflow validation. We shoot test content on your cameras to ensure on-camera performance meets production standards.
Training & Go-Live
Hands-on training for your operators covering every system component. Documentation for daily operation and troubleshooting. Then we step back and you start producing — with our support team a phone call away.

Stanford Athletics Media Day
Stanford's athletics department uses their 32' x 12' LED volume for football media day, producing player intro videos, recruitment content, and social media assets — all shot in-house with dynamic branded environments.

Genlock Synchronization
Camera, tracking, LED processor, and render engine all locked to the same frame clock. Zero tearing, zero partial-frame artifacts, and frame-accurate content delivery across the entire pipeline.
nDisplay Multi-Node Rendering
Large LED volumes are driven by multiple GPU render nodes, each responsible for a section of the wall. We configure nDisplay clusters with proper network architecture for synchronized, low-latency output.
ACES Color Pipeline
We work within ACES color management workflows to ensure consistent color from the Unreal Engine scene through the LED processor to the camera sensor. What the DP sees through the viewfinder is what the final output looks like.
FreeD Protocol Integration
Standard tracking protocol output from any of our supported tracking systems, feeding position, rotation, and lens data to the render engine in real time. Compatible with Unreal Engine, Disguise, and other VP platforms.
Simplify Daily Operation
Not every studio has a dedicated Unreal Engine team. Volumate gives your operators an intuitive interface to load environments, manage scenes, and run productions — without game engine expertise.
