Dude Perfect Overtime Desk

When the team at Dude Perfect began planning their new Overtime desk, they needed a solution that looked incredible on camera and could be delivered on a tight timeline. That’s where Form Volumes came in.

One of the biggest advantages we offer our clients is our relationships with LED manufacturers that maintain inventory in the United States. Instead of waiting for product to be shipped internationally, we can often source and deliver LED panels much faster. In today’s environment, that also helps reduce some of the uncertainty that can come with tariffs and international shipping delays.

For every project, our goal is to find the right balance between quality, performance, and budget. After evaluating the requirements for the Overtime desk, we selected the Unilumin UPAD IV S LED panels. Unlike traditional LED panels that require brackets between each tile to create a curve, the UPAD IV S panels feature an integrated design that allows for a smooth and consistent curve across the entire surface. The result is a cleaner look and a more seamless viewing experience, making it an ideal choice for a custom desk installation.

We also chose a 1.9mm pixel pitch. Since the LED panels would be positioned directly on the front of the desk and captured from relatively close camera distances, the tighter pixel pitch helps ensure a sharper image and better on-camera performance.

Another key partner on the project was Rec Department, who designed and built the custom desk. Their location in Atlanta made collaboration easy. While the desk was being fabricated, our team was able to visit their warehouse and integrate the LED panels directly into the build before it shipped to Dude Perfect’s headquarters. This streamlined the installation process and ensured everything was ready to go upon arrival.

The result is a custom LED-powered desk that serves as the centerpiece of Dude Perfect’s newly redesigned Overtime set. The desk made its debut in Dude Perfect’s highly anticipated 50th episode, where fans got their first look at the new studio design.
