Stanford University Athletics
Designed and installed a 32’ x 12’ LED volume for Stanford’s athletics department, transforming recruitment content, media day production, and real-time social media creation.
“Universities that adopt these technologies now will not only enhance their own content creation capabilities but will also future-proof their investment for the next generation.”

The Stanford University Athletics Department installed a 32’ x 12’ LED volume wall to transform how they produce content across recruitment, media days, press conferences, and social media.
The decision was driven by a need to enhance recruitment efforts and modernize media production. The LED wall allows the athletics department to produce cinematic videos, live-stream press conferences, and create interactive content for social media—all while presenting Stanford’s athletic programs at the highest level.
Stanford selected the Unilumin URM III Pro, a versatile outdoor-rated panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1/16 scan refresh rate, making it ideal for high-quality filming across multiple use cases. The system supports 4 input switching for seamless transitions between different content feeds—whether for live pressers, social media videos, or cinematic sports features.
Beyond athletics, the wall serves multiple departments. Film programs can use it for student projects, theater departments for digital productions, and marketing teams for recruitment content. This cross-departmental utility ensures the investment delivers widespread benefits across campus.
The wall has already been used to produce dynamic player intro videos filmed with Stanford’s own camera equipment, shared across social media platforms almost immediately—enhancing recruitment efforts and showcasing the university’s commitment to innovation.
